Play Time!

Elliott is starting to enjoy his play mat a lot more.  We can often leave him in the living room on the mat and he'll keep himself occupied for quite a while, filling our house with shrieks and coo's as he tries to communicate with his reflection and pretty much every shiny thing within sight.

RIBFEST!

As per usual this time of year, we attended the annual Fredericton Rib Fest.  It's rather expensive, but the ribs are really good!  The most impressive thing is the amount of trophies with little pigs and chickens on them.

The air was filled with the pleasing aroma of BBQ smoke.

Elliott and Katherine pose beside some pig trophies, and as per tradition, Sam Kerr joined us for the feast!

At the Table!

We tried out Elliott's clamp-on table chair.  He seems to enjoy it so far!  It's nice to have him sitting close to us as we eat.

Elliott's 3 Months Old!!!

So these photos are actually 3 months and 3 days old.  Whoops!  We remembered his 3 month birthday, but because it wasn't the best, most happiest day, we decided to postpone them.

At 3 months, our little guy is growing and learning so much!  He now lays on his activity mat, often for 15-30 minutes, batting his toys and grabbing at things.  He is making more exciting noises and sounds, and is getting a lot better at balancing his neck and torso.

He's just more and more fun each day!

Elliott's Jolly Jumper!

We're starting to put Elliott in the Jolly Jumper.  He doesn't last all that long in it, but he has a lot of fun as long as you're there with him!

Elliott is strapped in, and just starts staring at us.  Waiting for instructions!

!!!!

Garth checks out Elliott!

After getting bored, Katherine stepped-in and showed Elliott how to bounce, by holding his hands.  He loved it!

Bonus Photos:  Our dear friend Katrina and Elliott!

Auntie Rhonda and Terra Visit!

Katherine's aunt Rhonda and cousin Terra came out to visit last week!  It was fun to show them a taste of New Brunswick with our little boy.

Katherine walks with Elliott in front of an old church in Saint John that's for sale.

The old Saint John Market... which has amazing food!  That's Steve, walking into the frame :)

Rhonda, Katherine and Terra in front of the beautiful covered bridge in Rusagonis... or as the locals pronounce it, "Rooshagornish" or something nonsensical like that.

Elliott was absolutely mesmerized by the lights in the arcade section of the Kingswood Entertainment Centre, where we played two games of 'candlestick' bowling.

Rhonda totally owned us at bowling... both right and left-handed games.
